classic API signature credentials

We're using the classic/nvp API with signature credentials.  Do I need to do anything with this in regards to the 2017-2018 Merchant Security Roadmap?  Specifically, does the Merchant API Certificate Credentials Upgrade affect us?  If so, what is the way forward?

nope, that just applies to the API cert, not the signature.
