Hi,

I previously made an installment payment, but the seller did not ship the product and eBay returned the payment and the installment payment was canceled.

Now I want to buy another product in installments, but PayPal asks me for my card number and bank name, and there is no installment payment option for me.

Glad you found your way to our community and thanks for your first post. I can understand that it is annoying if you are not offered the option to pay in installments.

 

A possible reason for not being offered an installment option via PayPal could be that the merchant/online store may not provide it for your purchase.

I want to make an installment purchase from Ebay and this option was already active and usable for me.

Also, I bought an installment product from ebay a month ago, but the seller did not send the product to me, and ebay canceled the order and refunded the amount I paid.

Currently, the previous installment payment has been completed in my user panel and the reason for the refund has been recorded And the refunded amount is still in the Pay later section.
And on 20th June, this refund was made by eBay.
This payment has been completed, but is still in the Pay later section. I think that's why the system doesn't allow me to use it again for installment payment.
And after that, when I want to buy a new product by PayPal installment payment, it is not possible, and the PayPal site asks me for IBAN again, in the event that I have already given my IBAN and card number.
I think that because the previous installment payment was refunded on June 20th, the system does not allow me to use the installment payment again.

I spoke to several paypal support on the phone and even they didn't know what the problem was and couldn't help me.

And in my opinion, this is a system error that should be fixed, while it was not my fault and the seller did not ship the product and I should have received a refund.

I need another product now, but I am not allowed to use installment payment.

I even tested other sites and sellers at different hours and this is not possible, but it was there before.

Please take the necessary steps to fix this problem.

I can understand that the situation with the installment plan not being available is annoying.

 

Normally, you should be able to use the installment option even if you already have a completed or ongoing installment plan. As already mentioned, the PayPal installment option will only be displayed to you when paying with PayPal in the online store after logging into your PayPal account, if this is not offered to you in the selection of your payment options, the option is not available for this purchase.


In this case, you have the option to complete your payment using the payment methods displayed to you.

There may also be some restrictions on the side of the platform provider, here you could also ask them once.
