Sort Stored Buttons

Please add a feature that allows me to sort my stored buttons by either button name Item number or preferably BOTH.   The default sort order of last date edited is useless.  I typically have 200-300 stored buttons and have to add/edit/delete them on a daily basis.  Manually looking through pages of buttons to find the one I want to work with is very tedious.  Even changing the default sort to button name would be a VAST improvement.

Hi @VIPAdmin,

No worries, apologize for the delayed response.

Smart Payment Buttons is solely a payments product, therefore it doesn't have the capability to do any inventory tracking. We do have a partner, Stitch Labs, that provides inventory management software which we suggest on our PayPal Partner Solutions Directory.

You can find the list of parameters for Smart Payment Buttons in the Reference. On the left hand navigation, select the Orders and Payments API to see the list of parameters.

Hope this helps,

OK I see.  Let me ask my question this way.    If I am using a local database ion my server to track inventory, is there a mechanism between the smart buttons and IPN that will notify me when a sale has been completed, what item number(s) have been purchased, and the quantity of each item?  If I can harvest that data, I am capable of writing the SQL to update my tables locally.  I have to be abel to harvest that inbfo only after a sale has been 100% completed.

Hi @VIPAdmin,

PayPal will not pass on the information unless the website is built to intake this information. Meaning, PayPal will only pass this onto you as long as it is passed in the order. To be able to complete this, you will need to pass the item information in the Orders API.

Hope this helps!
