IPN and check stock

Hello,
I have a problem.
I have created a system of "buy now" with an IPN check, but the problem is that the payment status is always COMPLETED, and therefore I do not have the passobility to check the availability in the warehouse and in the cas refuse the payment.
Can someone help me???
