two credit cards

I have two credit cards, one for business & the other for personal use, as funding sources in PayPal. When I utilize PayPal to pay for purchases, the retailer doesn't provide an option to choose which credit card I would like to use, so my personal credit card is used for all purchases. Can I change the credit card used within PayPal after the transaction is complete?

I have the same question as my personal card was charged instead of my business card without offering me a choice.

You could try logging in to your paypal account before you make the purchase & select your business card as your default & after you complete the purchase; you can change your default card back to personal. I know this isn't a perfect solution & kind of complicated. I would double check before & after because you can forget witch one your useing.

Yes, clumsy but workable. Thank you. I did not previously see the “Make Primary” checkbox. I’ll just have to try and remember to log into my account and set this appropriately before making a purchase.

You can review and modify your payment method before your payment is sent.

• Click "Change" or "More funding options" to select a different way to pay.
• After you send a payment, you can't change the payment method.
