Hi all,
I'm a new ebay seller and have a question about shipping charges:
When something sells and the customer pays via pay pal, pay pal processes and takes their cut and the rest of the money sits (from what I understand) in our pay pal account until it is "cleared" by pay pal to be moved into our own charity account. This could take 28 days or something. However, can I use the shipping $ to pay ebay so that I can print labels and ship from my home before those 28 days are over? Or do I have to front the money myself?
I'm just not sure if there is a hold on all activity, including shipping charges. I'm new so I'm assuming they will hold up the cash from my sales. Can someone explain? Thanks!

You'll have to front the shipping money yourself. The whole amount of the payment from the customer is put on hold.
