Upgrade to either a Premier or Business Account and sign up for PayPal's Website Payments Standard. Personal Accounts are great for buying and/or sending/receiving funds from friend and/or relatives. You are quite limited when it comes to selling therefore you should have a Premier or Business Account. Note, the accounts are free as there are no monthly charges. You only pay a transaction fee when you have a successful transaction.

There are 3 types of PayPal accounts: Personal, Premier, and Business.
Here's how you open a Personal or Premier account:
1. Click Sign Up at the top of the page.
2. Select your country or region.
3. Choose which account type you want and click Get Started.
4. Enter your information, including your full email address, and choose a password (it must contain at least 8 characters and is case sensitive). You will need these to log in to your PayPal account.
5. Click Agree and Create Account.
Here's how you open a PayPal Business account:
1. Click Sign Up at the top of the page.
2. Select your country or region.
3. Under the Business section, click Get Started.
4. Select a payment solution and click Continue.
5. Follow the instructions based on the payment solution you’ve selected.
6. Once you have set up your account, click My Business Setup in the banner over your PayPal balance.
7. Choose the section where you want to begin and click Start Now.
