the confirmation e-mail to those who donate contains an e-mail address we no longer use. it also does not appear in the list of e-mails available in our account profile.
any idea where it is coming from and how i might change it?
You should have Tech Support look at your Account. Open a Support Ticket here. The only email address that should appear is the one that is associated with your item button code. If the address that is showing in the notification emails is not listed in your PayPal Account Profile as you said, then you have identified a glitch.
