Virtual Terminal processing error

I was trying to process a credit card using our virtual terminal and I got an error saying that the buyers credit card company would not process the transaction. I believe it was a 1505 or 15005 error? Does this mean the card did not have enough money on it? Or something else entirely?

15005 - The transaction was declined by the issuing bank, not PayPal. The merchant should attempt another
card. Unfortunally you will not know the real reason as this info is not shared by issuing bank.

I've had this error message many times and couldn't understand why. However, in two instances I realized that the customer had mistyped the cc number. Once I entered the correct cc number, the transactions processed fine.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
