I HAVE LISTED A VERY EXPENSIVE ITEM FOR THE 3RD TIME. I GET EMAIL REQUESTS FROM SOME BUYERS REQUESTING MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT SO THEY CAN SEND FUNDS. WHEN I ADVISE THEM TO USE EBAY FORMS THEY DONT RESPOND. THEY USUALLY HAVE ESTABLISHED THEIR ACCOUNT WITH EBAY THE DAY OF THE LISTING. I RECEIVED AN ADVISE FROM EBAY THAT THE ITEM HAS SOLD. I WAS SUSPECT OF THSI WHEN BUYER ASKED TO SHIP THE ITEM TO NIGERIA. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED. I CALLED PAYPAL AND THEY INFORMED ME NOT TO SHIP IT AS THEY DID NOT GET PAYMENT AND TO GO TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND I WILL SEE "PENDING".

I BELIEVE I WAS LUCKY THAT A VERY EXPENSIVE ITEM WAS NOT LOST.

BE CAREFULL WITH ANY TRANSACTION FROM AN EBAY CLIENT ASKING TO SEND THE ITEM TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY. yOU WILL LOSE IT.
