Hi: I recently received a defective item from an Ebay seller and filed a claim with Paypal. Paypal states that I'm responsible for return shipping charges for the defective item in order to receive a refund. I find this unfair. I did nothing wrong. Why should I pay for return shipping charges? PP also wants me to provide tracking info for the return. This item's price is only $2.50 so paying for return shipping and handling plus tracking makes this a no brainer since I'll end up receiving less than what I'm paying for. Again, this is unfair.

Life is sometimes unfair. In most cases, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping fees however, a reputable online business would provide you with a return shipping label.
