Is there a way to change the text on the PayPal button from 'donate' to 'support'?

Donate implies a charity.

Where exactly to want to change the text?

If you're referring to the text on the PayPal Screens or the PayPal email notifications or your Account Transaction History, not possible with the Donation item button code, as there are no features or options to do what you have in mind.

If you're referring to the graphic button image, one option would be to create your own custom graphic.   See this example.

Yes, all you need a good graphic design application, i.e., Photoshop, etc.
