Can't pay my Bill Me Later bill with Paypal

I recently won an Ebay auction and went to pay with PayPal.  I got an offer for $10 off the purchase if I signed up for a Bill Me Later account.  I did and received the credit in my new account.  The problem is that I can't pay my Bill Me Later balance with my PayPal account.  There are instructions on both web sites but they don't work.  They reference links that are not there.  I sent and email to PayPal and they never responded.  I sent and email to Bill Me Later and they sent an automated message that I would receive a reply in 2 hours.  About 30 hours later they sent me an email with the instructions from their help page that don't work.   I specifically stated that the instructions don't work  in my email.  Does anyone know how to Link your Paypal and Bill Me Later accounts?  I can tell you this...after I get my balance paid I will be closing my Bill Me Later account.

Well, I just called PayPal customer service.  After saying "Customer Service" to their automated response system half a dozen times I was able to talk to someone who spoke english with an accent so thick we could barely communicate.  After explaining multiple times about my Bill Me Later (BML) issue she said she would transfer me to a BML account specialist.  I did not know but that meant actually transfer me away from PayPal to BML.  Of course, the BML rep said the accoutns should link automatically and that there is no way to manually link them.  He offered to take my checking account numbers and draft directly from my account.  NO CHANCE I'm giving them my checking account information.  I offered a credit card but they don't take credit card payment.  Who, especially an on-line payment company, does not take credit cards??????????????????  BML is a complete joke!  I still have not received an answer to my emails from PayPal either.  Horrible customer service all around.  I'm going to send BML a check and then close my account as fast as I can.  The time and frustration I spent on this was no where near the discount I received for signing up.

I finally got an answer:

When I signed up for Bill Me Later (while paying for an auction using my existing PayPal account) they created a new PayPal account tied to my email address instead of linking it to my existing account.  That is why there are no links to my Bill Me Later account when I login to PayPal.  I never verified opening a new account nor was I notified of the new account.  I had to call PayPal customer service and ask for "CUSTOMER SERVICE"  I then had to select which one I wanted and I think the options I chose were "ACCOUNT INFORMATION" and then "COUPONS / SPECIAL OFFERS" to get to someone that could help me.  The bad news is they said they could not switch my accounts and the only thing for me to do is send in a payment to Bill Me Later and then close my account and reopen a new account from my PayPal account.  Considering that Bill Me Later won't even accept credit card payments, their system does not seem to work right and their customer service people could not determine what the problem was I'm just going to send payment and close my account.
