Unconfirmed email : Payment not received on Paypal since a week

I got an email which indicated the amount that I have received. It also included the following:

Don't see the money in your account? If you haven't confirmed your email address with us yet, you won't see the money in your account until you do. Confirm your email address now (You'll need your confirmation code: xxxxxxxxxxxxx)
When that's done, the money will show up in your PayPal account and you'll be able to see the complete payment details. (It sometimes takes a few minutes.) I confirmed my email address immediately then, but its been a week and the money is still not in my Paypal account.

If you have not confirmed your email address then the payment would show as ''unclaimed'' on the buyers side and they can cancel it.

So firstly I would check with your buyer if he/she cancelled it or not.
