How am I protected from being scamed?

If I post something and recieve a payment through paypal how am i protected if they claim they haven't recieved it or that it's damaged?

Sorry? If a buyer does not receive an item they have paid you for then surely you would want to refund them??
To protect yourself you need to send the items trackable so if they get lost you can refund the buyer and then claim from royal mail.
I tend to send anything over £30 trackable but take the risk for anything under. But that is my risk not the buyers, if the item does not get there they get a refund.
Advice is voluntary.
