Automatic Refund to buyer!!!!!??????!!!!!

Why does PayPal automatically refund a customer when the dispute is settled?  How am I to ensure that my $900 product is going to be returned to me?????? Wouldn't a common sense person think that that seller would need to get a product back before refunding the buyer?  I run a business, not selling crap on ebay.  I am so **bleep** over now!

Hi Whatthe555555,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community Forum!

I’m sorry to hear about the challenge with the dispute.

The usual process would be for the refund to be contingent on the item’s return to the seller which has to be verified with a proof of delivery.

Have you offered to issue a refund during a dispute stage or PayPal claims specialists have made that decision during a claim process?

Regrettably we can’t see your account details here. I would recommend you calling PayPal Customer Services by clicking onto Contact us on any PayPal page as they will be able to review your account and provide you with the best course of action.

We also provide support via Social Media (24/7). You can contact us directly on Twitter @AskPayPal or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK.

Hope it helps.

Anna
