receiving paypal payment from overseas buyer.

I am new to selling on the internet.  I had a buyer from Europe contact me for a sale of a few of my hand crafted shell decor.  I gave her a price, she then asked for my bank account information.  I did not give it to her and told her Paypal is the only way.  She then asked for Paypal information and I gave her my email address which is all she should need.  Am I at any risk for giving my email  to her?  as I said, I am new to this and am concerned because she first asked for my bank account information.  Thank you.

European mainland countries tend to use direct bank transfer far more than paypal so i guess that is why she asked you for it.

She would need your email address to send the funds to you BUT MAKE SURE THE FUNDS ARE SHOWING IN YOUR PAYPAL BALANCE BEFORE YOU SEND ANYTHING.
