cannot confirm my bank card

Hello. paypal keep taking £1.00 out of my bank account with the 4 digit code to confirm my card. When i click the little 'bell' symbol in the top right to confirm my card with the code it gives me no option to type the code in to confirm my card. this has been happening for 3 months and the charges are still being made to my bank account. how do i confirm my card?!?!? i am considering deactivating my whole account because of these constant charges.

Any help would be muc appreciated. Thank you.
