Should I close the dispute?

The seller says that PayPal has frozen my account and has asked me to close the dispute so they can give a partial refund. I've never done this before, is it the right thing to do? Thanks in advance

NO !!!!!!!!!!

If you close the dispute then the seller can ignore you.

You never close a dispute until you have a cleared refund or your item, in fact if the seller refunded you that would close the dispute automatically.

If you have not already done so then ESCALATE the dispute to a claim for paypal to sort for you.
