I have been through the resolution centre as my PayPal account was used for an unauthorised payment which Paypal accepted as unauthorised. However I have still been charged for this amount on my credit card. Has anyone else had this experience.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
