Paypal codes

When trying to set up a bank account, paypal charged me a small amount so I could have a code in my statement to verify it, the first took ages to turn up so I did it again but that code didnt work so I did it again but now I have been charged £3 for doing that, do I get that £3 back? I want it

This has also happened to me.

Edit: I just checked and the money has been refunded after emailing PayPal from the app.
