PayPal here card reader not working and app disappeared🤔

Hi, please can anyone help? My ‘Here’ card reader hasn’t connected for a while so I just put card details in manually. Today the PayPal app seems to have disappeared from my iPad so I reloaded it. It now looks completely different! When I tried to add a client’s card details it came up with a message saying manually added details would be chared at a higher rate! The card reader still won’t connect. Any advice gratefully received, thanks!

Welcome to the community. Keyed-in payments entered manually are processed at a slightly higher fee of 3.4% + 20p. You should find further information Here. If you are still experiencing issues with the reader, it may be worth running a full factory re-set or unpairing the reader by forcing the app to close according to your device and operating system. Restart the app and then try to reconnect it to the card reader.
