Log in to your PayPal account. Go to your Profile page to look at the email address(es) on your account. If you see "Unconfirmed" next to your email address, select it and click "Confirm" Check your email and click the link PayPal sent you. Once email is confirmed funds will show in your account.
I have had this account for 7 years and never had an issue receiving funds. I have one email associated with this account and in my profile it displays neither confirmed or uncomfirmed next to it. I have been waiting for this payment for 6 weeks now and from the other side my friend says it displays "pending" still on his account.
