Don't know how to change the email address my customers see

I am trying to change the email address my customers see in the email they get confirming their purchase.  They are seeing an old email address even though we only have one email listed in our settings as our primary email.  We have tried setting up a brand new button but its the same.  (NB: We have ticked the 'Use merchant ID' setting as suggested) .  Does anyone know how to change this as we've looked everywhere we can think of in Paypal Settings.  Thanks

In general, if your customers are receiving an email with incorrect information, you might have to update your business information. You can follow these instructions:

 

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.

2. Click the Business Profile icon and select Profile and settings.

3. In the 'Business Information' section, click Update

4. Next to Your Business information, click Edit.
