I have just paid £50 into my Son's Payapl account but he has only received £48.10. Does anyone know why?

you need to use the pay friends and family option to avoid any fees being taken. Any other option of paying into another paypal account will incur fees from the person receiving the money hence the reduction in the amount. Get your son to refund the payment and do it again using the friends and family option
