I teach online, my students pay a sum into my PayPal account.
I have a student (not a Friend or Family) in France who will have lessons and will pay into my account.
What will be the charges for the student and for me?
For example, if I want to recieve £20 what should i charge them in Euros and would they pay a charge on top of this?
Regards.

Hi @Chillybons,
Good question, you as the seller would pay a receiving fee. Generally, it is 3.4% + 20p to receive a payment. If this is coming from a French PayPal account and you are in the UK then there would be an additional cross border .5% fee so it should be 3.9% + 20p. You should find additonal information here, https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/cross-border-and-conversion-fees#crossborder.
Hope this helps,
Siobhán
