Can I send money to the USA if I pay charges

I want to send money to a Pay Pal contact ( Friend) in the USA and pay any fee, but I can only find a box to send money free to the UK. Any advise please?

Welcome to the community forum.

You can send money to anyone with a PayPal account and if this person is a friend you can pay the fee.

 
To send money:

1. Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
2. At the top of the page, select Send and Request.
3. Select Send money to friends or family in order to cover the cross border fee yourself.
