I am rather concerned about entering the three/four letter security code in the credit card details held in the Pay Pal Wallet.

After entering the requested information, I reflected on what I had done and felt distinctly uneasy as the code is, presumably, there for added security when shopping online or over the phone.  I am aware that I am not alone in my concerns regarding this issue.

Could anyone explain why this information is requested by Pay Pal?

Thank you,

Julian.

How can paypal use your credit card to get funds to pay your seller if you don't give them your full card details?

If you pay a seller or company online you fill in the card details and then you have to fill in the csc details to confirm the card is in your possession.

So you are happy to give every company that you order from those details but not paypal?
