My accounts is stating an error I seenm unable to reslove and when tring to link card for the last 24 hours its states:

 The Credit Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable. Please try to link your credit card at a later time. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

What this error message means is that your bank are denying our attempts to charge your card for confirmation. When you request a code to confirm your card £1.00 GBP is charged to your card so we can send the code with the transaction. If this is not authorised by your card issuer we will not be able to complete the verification.

I recommend calling the number on the back of your card to check this with your bank. In my experience that numbers gets you through to the best people to help.
