It seems as if PayPal chat representatives are so overloaded with inquiries to answer (due to inadequate staffing) that they’ve begun to accidentally (on purpose) drop chats in mid-conversation, leaving the inquiry’s hanging. What I do is continue the chat leaving them with my question in a message. They will reply eventually; it is the equivalent of email. It is much slower but at least I am able to finish the conversation. Hope this helps 😊
