Void Transactions

I cancelled a transaction as the address of our customer is not covered by our service. The customer didn't log in to her Paypal account but entered the details of her debit card instead upon checkout. When we received the payment, the status is Authorized from as we set the payments to manually capture it on our website. Since we voided the transaction and it says Completed on our Paypal account, no payment was captured on our end. Customer is claiming that the amount was taken out of her bank already. How long does it usually take for the customer to get back her money?

For cards, anywhere from a week, up to 30 days for the temporary authorization to expire with funds released. If the void is was successfully completed.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks! Is it the same process if for example we were authorized a 1,500 worth and we only captured 1,200? It will still be 7 to 30 days?
