I won an auction this morning - I got a great price for an expensive pair of shoes! Less than five minutes later, I received a message that my order was canceled because "Item was out of stock or damaged." Thinking this sounded a little fishy, I researched feedback on the seller only to discover he had the same pair of shoes listed on a 'Buy It Now' auction for $100 more than what I won them for. So this is what I think happened: he wasn't happy with the price the shoes sold for on my auction, so he 'fraudulently' canceled my order to try and get a higher price. Isn't that what 'reserves' are for?! I hadn't paid for it yet so there's no issue with refunds, it just sucks that sellers abuse the system. Is there anything I can do about it?
