Sold Item (OfferUp) - Payment to Venmo

Hi there,

 

I sold an item, a buyer contacted me to buy said item via OfferUp. Buyer, I will call for this post is named “J” , who paid to my Venmo account. After payment was confirmed, we agreed on a date/time for pickup. Once it was time for pickup- “J”, (the buyer) kept making excuses to pickup (buyers remorse), which became a great inconvenience to me despite my efforts to resolve a meetup to get the item to her. “J” now wants a full refund, but it was stated that all sales are FINAL once money has been exchanged. “J” texted me that I need to send a refund or she will submit a claim/dispute. How can “J” submit a claim, when I’m trying my best to reach out to the buyer (“J”) to resolve the issue? “J” does not answer my text messages.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue? Am I required to refund? I cannot find a solution via Venmo help support.
