I recently put a smartwatch for sale on Gumtree for £100 and got a whatsapp from a foreign number asking if they could purchase for £110 including shipping to West Africa. Although skeptical I carried on the conversation and they asked for my bank account/paypal details to which I sent my paypal.me link which they didn't accept to send money to. From here I knew it was a scam so gave an email to them that isn't my paypal one to which I received confirmation that they had sent me the money all I had to do was enter tracking details and address once posted to release the money into my account!!
