I opened a case against a company as they told me they hadn’t received an item I sent back 3 weeks ago I had the receipt and tracking information that showed otherwise they then strangely sent an email yesterday saying my my item had been received and I would be refunded via PayPal which has not happened and they are trying to say the finance company tried to send me money but due to the open case could not the case was closed today what should I do to get my money back

I did paypyclosed it saying I didn’t provide a receipt with my claim I have contacted customer service uploaded a copy or receipt and email from company
