PayPal account Negative but I had enough money in my bank account

I recently bought something with PayPal as the middle man and then last night I got the “Insufficient funds in your bank account” email. Problem is that I have double the amount required for what I was buying in my bank account, so I canceled the order. And now my PayPal account is negative without a reason I’m aware of. I used the right account and I knew for a fact there was money. How do I go about fixing this without just paying PayPal for nothing?

Sounds as if the transfer failed for some reason

Do you still have the direct debit mandate for paypal showing and active in your online banking?

Is the name of your bank the same as the name on your paypal account?

Is it a real bank opened in your country and not a virtual / digital bank account?

Have you confirmed the bank with the 4 digit code after adding it?

 

Failing that reach out to your bank and see why they blocked the transfer?
