New Postage charges

When mailing my package today I was surprised that I was charged $25.38 for postage when last week I was charged $8.81, for the exact same package to the exact location. I calle Support and was told it was the new charges for USPS mailing.  I went to the USPS site and mailed the seme exact package for $11.65 and this is without my PayPal discount.  PayPal support claims that they have no jurisdiction as to postage prices which I find very awkward.  Have any one else have encountered such a problem.

PayPal doesn't have control over the postage rates.

I see $8.81 for Priority Mail Commercial base rate, Zone 4, at 4 lb.

I see $25.38 for Priority Mail Commercial base rate, Zone 4, at 14 lbs. 

So you must've put in the weight wrong.  Here's a plate of crow for you. 😉

I called back again and was told that there is a glitch in the system causing the error, it wasn't mr or my computer. So we have to wait until it is fixed. Thanks
