How do you reach a live agent?

I have tried for four days to get assistance from PayPal.

1. They send automated form emails to emails - even when you reply to these they just replay with another form email
2. Today I tried calling their customer support line FIVE TIMES - each time their robot asks questions but doesn't record either voice or keypad responses - when i finally reached the transfer point in the call (4-5 minutes later) - THEY HUNG UP ON ME FIVE TIMES

How do you actually reach a human being at this service?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

WHEN YOU GET THROUGH DON'T SAY ANYTHING JUST TRY PRESSING 0 A FEW TIMES.
