Charged for sending text

I've been sent a verification text to reply yes or no and send it to a number, so I go to send a yes text but a message pops up that I will be charged for the text? Surely PayPal are not charging me just to verify a payment?

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting. 

We do not charge a fee to send us a text message but this may be something that is charged by your mobile provided. We do not have any premium on our confirmation texts so this should be no more than the standard rate.
