I'm starting an integration with Paypal payments.
Our use case is very similar with reference transactions, https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/express-checkout/ec_set_up_reference_transactions/#set-up-..., where we want to use Express Checkout on our application client side to initiate a billing agreement, and then later capture the future payments on our application server side. These future payments could be on user demand, or could be recurring payments (with flexible amounts and periods).
Accordingly to the documentation this functionality is deprecated for new integrations.
Are there any other alternatives for such use case?
