e-mail sent to me

I had an e-mail sent to me that stated a third party was trying to get into my account.Then the e-mail said I had to give my checking account number,name of bank.I started but didn't finish..It looked like a paypal e-mail...was this paypal?

I received the same email and begain to start the process and stopped when I got to the part where they asked for my bank account information. I looked at the sender and it was from paypal-media.com and that's when I found out it was a scam. I immediately went on paypal to change my password and on aol to. I would recommend you do the same!
