Scam? Ships from Chhina

I purchased an item on EBay that the site says ships from China. The site also says it accepts Paypal however when I try to pay it directs me to another site to fill in credit card info. I am afraid to enter my info. What do you think  - is this a scam? I also tried to go directly to Paypal to pay but the auction does not show up.

I would back away from that ( sounds scammy to me, too) and make a complaint to ebay here;

The report link is at the bottom, the specific offence is " Discourage buyers from using any payment method the seller specified in the listing".
