I just received an email:
[From: <removed email address> On Behalf Of service @ paypal.com-us
Subject: PayPal Payment Notification and Confirmation :Routine Code(QQ667-PQ688-PP5688) Received form <removed name> (<removed email address>) Confirmed]
Some of the email links in the email match the text. Others link to "<removed email address>" and "<removed email address>".
It also lists a Transaction ID with apears to be fake. The status of the payment request is still pending.
I'll provide the shipping information if it's verified that this is a scam.

Hi vicw1025,
Welcome to the forum!
If ever you have a doubt about the validity of an email that claims to have been sent from PayPal, you can forward it to spoof@paypal.com to have it reviewed.
You did the right thing by checking your PayPal account to see if there was a transaction. That will always be the safest barometer of legitimacy.
I hope this helps!
Olivia
