Was supposed to pay sales tax

I just made a purchase from an on-line seller who also has stores in my state, although the item I purchased cannot be purchased in the store.  Their invoice included sales tax, but Pay Pal removed it.  Why did this happen?  If I need to pay the sales tax, will my item be held from shipping until it is?

Jaycie,

Is this an Order process?  If so, the merchant will likely add the Sales Tax back on later.  You can tell if it is an Order by reviewing your History; look for a transaction ID that starts with "O-".

Hope this helps,

Thanks, Adrian, that is exactly what it was.  I had already received an e-mail from the seller that showed the correct amount.  Thank you for your assistance!
