So not only do I get scammed by the eBay user who purchased my item and PayPal sided with the user due to the credit card chargeback, PayPal charges me a $20 fee on top of it?

Seriously, how do you keep customers?

Credit Card Chargeback. eBay user purchased item, filed a claim after item was already redeemed.

Learned my lesson but to throw a $20 fee on top of it is annoying and stupid.

Yes I understand it was a credit card chargeback.

What type of chargeback wad it.

Unauthorized

Item not received

SNAD.

paypal offers seller protection for INR and unauthorized transactions.

Did you ship with D/C for sales less that $250.00

or with Signature Confirmation if sale was $250.00 or more

We just got whammed a $20 CHARGEBACK FEE on a $25 purchase. WTF!

The best part is that it was for electronically delivered software and we issued a refund as soon as we saw the $25 fee.  The "buyer" never attempted to contact us and ask for a refund under our no-questions-asked refund guarantee.

PayPal just stood by, after being a $10k+/year customer for 7+ years and let us get reamed by the customer and the credit card company.

Thanks PayPal.
