Donation Fee

Man,

I just set up a donation button so this guy could refund my 528 bucks he owed me, and I got charged 15.61 from paypal.

Thats not right. Next time I'll find a better way to get my money. Hey, thanks Paypal, greedy bunch of so and so's...

Welcome to the community!

If you had originally paid him using PayPal, he could have refunded the original payment and there would have been no fee to you.

Another option is a Personal payment.  If this is a family member or friend that owes you funds, they can use the "Send Money" tab in their PayPal account to send you a Personal payment. There will be no fee for these payments as long as:

- The payment is funded by the sender's PayPal balance or bank account.

- The sender is in the same country as the recipient.
