I sold a handbag to a lady, which was sent out last week.
This was a leather clutch bag - the lady has now come back to me and made a claim to get her money back due to the bag not being genuine leather...
The bag is genuine leather and I'm unsure where to go from here, am I obliged to refund her? The bag is exactly as described and I'm really not sure why she is disputing it.
Anyone had any similar experiences?
Thanks in advance.
Hi kate8672,
Thanks for posting on the Community Forum and sorry to hear about this.
A buyer can file a dispute for a payment they send if they feel that the item they received is not as it was originally described. However, when a buyer makes a claim such as this, we would ask them for additional information in support of this. We also won't issue a refund until the buyer has provided a valid tracking number showing that the item has been delivered back to you.
You will be contacted by email with any further updates regarding your case, but do let us know if you have any other questions.
Hope this helps!
