I have had an absolute nightmare trying to close a PayPal Credit account and have been misled, misinformed and in fact lied to on a scale which just stresses me but all I get from the verbiage is "sorry but I cannot give you my full name because of security reasons, the system was updating your account at the time and so when asked why I was not told this and assumed account closed SILENCE ensued". They are either totally incompetent or lying. I wonder which because at my age I have dealt with many banks and have been involved in merchant banking myself and this is the worst......**bleep** up, shut up and then we might deal with you and confirm your request but NOT until you pay us.
