Submitted tracking to return item not as described - cannot see this in the claim history?

I returned some items that were not as described after a seller refused to refund me and bought expensive postage with tracking, then provided the number in the text box provided by paypal. I now cannot find this number and I want to know if it has arrived, Where is it if not in the case history?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community! 

 

In general, you may not be able to see the tracking number in your case details after you have submitted it, but you should be able to see it in the email that you received once the case has been updated. 

 

My suggestion, though, would be not to get rid of the shipping receipt that the courier provided you with once you have shipped the parcel. This is because we may require additional information to verify the shipping address in order to go ahead with the case investigation.
