I've opened Open Disputes & Claims and paypal told me to return the item to the buyer.. but the box that seller sent to me is just an Empty box, there nothing in it...

What I do ? Paypal told me to provide the tracking number or Cancel claim. Do i really need to spend on shipping fee to return the empty box to the seller?

Anyone help me please? thanks!

if you used a CC via your PP acct, try going through them.  They are generally quite responsive to their customers.

Paypal sent me an email and said:

sounds like you must've filed a fraud complaint? you need to fill out a affidavit of fraud and fax it to PayPal, if you don't have a fax machine, i would suggest going to your local library or something, or you may be able to do it from the police station.

Um.... every single time an item is shipped, it has a weight listed, this is with or without a tracking number... go to the manufacturers site, find the actual weight of the item, then find the weight of the item shipped to you. If it was empty like you say, this will be open and shut.

That is crazy!  I ordered something from ebay and it was fake so I put in a claim to get my money back. ebay  waned me to ship back the package and they provided the shipping label for me and I did not have to pay for it. Did you buy from ebay or somewere else? If it was through ebay then put in your claim through ebay and ebay will provide a free shipping label, if you ordered from somewhere else, then call paypal and explain to them what happened, that the box was empty and you are not going to spend more money to ship it back, that is ridiculous!
